Tannehill breaks 4,000 passing yards in disappointing ending

QB Ryan Tannehill’s 259 passing yards improved his season total to 4,045, establishing a new career high. Tannehill finished the season with 4,045 passing yards, joining Dan Marino as the only quarterbacks in franchise history to surpass 4,000 yards in a season. (Miamidolphins.com)

Fantasy Impact:

A few of Tannehill's deep shots in the first half were caught, but could have been TDs if put in better spots. Once Mike Wallace removed himself from the game at half there was no threat of a deep ball for the Dolphins, the Jets defense were able to crowd the line and cover up the short to intermediate routes. We are confident that GM Dennis Hickey will add more weapons for Tannehill to work with in 2015 and will also have another year in the "Lazor" system to develop. We view Tannehill's FF potential as a borderline QB1 going into next years draft.
