Sean Lee unsure if he will play in 2019

Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee is coming off an injury plagued 2018 season that saw him lose his starting job to a rookie. He said in a recent radio interview that he will evaluate his future, but is “leaning toward” playing again. If he decides to play, though, it could be somewhere other than Dallas as he’s scheduled to make $7 million in 2019, making him a candidate to be cut this offseason. (Sports Day)

Fantasy Impact:

“I’m going to take a month, travel a little bit with the wife, see how I feel,” Lee told KTCK. “A month or two down the line I’ll figure out where I’m at...I want to continue to play the game, but I have to evaluate physically where I’m at. I definitely have some decisions to make. I’m leaning toward playing for sure.” At 32 years old, Lee has yet to play a full 16 game season. He played in only seven games in 2018 due to multiple hamstring injuries.
