Will Marrone's departure affect C.J. Spiller?

Head coach Doug Marrone opted out of his contract and left the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday. The offensive-minded coach, along with offensive coordinator Nate Hackett, who came with him from Syracuse, designed a running scheme that didn't fit the skills of C.J. Spiller, essentially rendering him a backup.

Fantasy Impact:

Hold the phone on assuming Spiller will leave Buffalo, too. If the Bills' next coaching staff can design a scheme around Spiller's elite but limited talent, he could be more likely to return and potentially regain his form from 2012, when he starred under coach Chan Gailey. Spiller averaged 4.4 YPC in two years under Marrone, after a three-year average of 5.3 under Gailey.
