Tony Romo has been unsuccessful both against the Lions and in the playoffs, 1-3 record in both cases, but can redeem himself Sunday afternoon. (Newsday)
Fantasy Impact:
The Lions rank sixth against fantasy QB this year, only allowing five 300 yard games, but have allowed multiple touchdowns in six of their past seven games. Romo averages 290 passing YPG against the Lions in his four matchups, but has thrown untimely interceptions that have allowed the Lions to defeat the Cowboys. Romo has turned into an elite level QB, leading the NFL in advanced metrics like QB Rating, TD%, Completion%, and Yards Per Attempt, but needs playoff success to prove his worth. Romo should be able to have a successful weekend against the Lions, particularly with Dez Bryant playing inspired football, and he is the top QB option for the Wild Card weekend.
