Demaryius Thomas expected to be released

Fantasy Impact:
Despite trading for Thomas around the 2018 trade deadline, it looks like the Texans are releasing the 31-year-old wideout at some point in the day. Although Thomas flashed with a two-touchdown performance against the Titans in Week 12, his short stint in Houston will likely be remembered as a fail, concluding with a season-ending Achilles tear suffered in Week 16. For Thomas, there is still no timetable for his return from his injury but should land with a new club when he's good to go.
