Peyton Manning healthy for clash against the Colts

by Patrick Johnson | Fri, Jan 9th 3:59pm EST

Peyton Manning practiced in full this week and was not listed on the injury report. He played through a nagging thigh injury in the last month of the regular season and his efficiency waned. While Peyton struggled statistically over his last five games (60% completion percentage, 7.5 yards per attempt, and six interceptions), Denver leaned more on the defense and running game down the stretch to win and secure a playoff bye. Despite mass twitter hysteria on Friday due to a video of two passes in pre-practice warmups, there is no report that Manning is still significantly injured. (Jeff Legwold - ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Facing an inferior front seven against the Colts this week, all signs lead to a continued power running attack from Broncos, which will set up Manning's play action passing. The Colts boast a pair of talented CBs in Vontae Davis and Greg Toler and will not likely attack them with guns blazing.
