Eddie Lacy plows through cold weather, Cowboys defense

by Eric Anderson | Mon, Jan 12th 9:32am EST

Eddie Lacy has looked phenomenal on fewer touches this year than last, and that trend continued into the Packers first playoff game. He finished with 19 rushes for 101 yards, and one catch for 10 yards. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

A lot of credit goes to the Packers offensive line who routinely dominated Dallas at the point of attack and allowed Lacy to get into the second level where he can give defensive backs nightmares. Dallas played the run and tried to force the Packers to beat them on the arm and one healthy leg of Aaron Rodgers, but Coach McCarthy stuck with it and it paid dividends late in the game when the Packers switched things up and lined up WR Randall Cobb in the backfield. Lacy is a tough, heavy back and will get a chance to prove that against Seattle's stout defense next week.
