John Fox hired as coach of Bears

by Dale Redman | Sat, Jan 17th 2:24pm EST

The Chicago Bears have announced that John Fox will be the next coach of the Bears. They have agreed to a four-year deal with an introductory press conference scheduled for Monday. Fox has complied a 119-89 regular season record in 13 seasons as head coach of the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers. Fox fits all the qualities new GM Ryan Pace was looking for. He is an experienced, defensive-minded, run first, players coach. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

With a renewed focus on run-first football, Matt Forte should be in store for a great year on the ground. In 2014 Forte posted a 3.9 YPC average, his lowest in five seasons. While he most certainly will see a decrease in catches, Forte should be able to add to his average of 16.6 carries per game in 2015.
