Marshawn Lynch sets unofficial playoff record for tackles broken

by Brian Tesch | Tue, Jan 20th 10:46am EST

According to ProFootballFocus.com, Marshawn Lynch broke 15 tackles against the Packers during the Seahakws 28-22 overtime victory. The 15 broken tackles were the most ever during a playoff game since the stat was first tracked in 2007. (Pro Football Focus via The Seattle Times)

Fantasy Impact:

It should be noted that Lynch also has the 2nd, and 3rd most broken tackles in a playoff game, so in essence its just another day at the office for him. Lost in the media hullabaloo over Rusell Wilson's horrid day/later redemption, and deflategate in New England, Marshawn Lynch posted 157 yards and a TD on 25 carries, and his one 26 yard catch was nearly a 40 yard TD. Lynch's tremendous effort again proved that in a league of largely homogeneous running backs, he stands at least a cut above.
