Jace Sternberger is drawing heavy interest around the NFL, and has now visited or worked out for 14 different teams. Sternberger is likely viewed as the top target for teams that miss out on the big three of T.J. Hockenson, Noah Fant, and Irv Smith Jr. An animal after the catch, Sternberger averaged 8.3 yards after the catch per reception in 2018. Jace Sternberger is likely to be thrust into an immediate starting role if he is snapped up by a team with a hole at tight end. Interestingly, he has garnered interest from teams with stable tight end situtations as well, perhaps signalling just how high his stock has risen. Aside from the teams with obvious tight end needs, Sternberger has visited with the San Francisco 49ers, and Kansas City Chiefs, and worked out for the New Orleans Saints.
