Fantasy Impact:

According to a report from Pete Prisco of CBS Sports, the Cardinals may pivot from selecting former Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray with the first overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft. After months of rumors and speculation, the decision not to select Murray would be stunning and cause a strong ripple effect throughout the first round. Arizona could look to trade back and accumulate multiple picks to fill some glaring holes in its roster, or it could stay pat at number one and select a defensive talent such as Nick Bosa. Teams drafting immediately after the Cardinals - 49ers, Jets, and Raiders - would all need to reassess draft strategies, and teams in need of QB help could opt to trade up to select Murray. With the NFL Draft just days away, it seems there are still plenty of surprises in store.
