Jason Witten again tops the NFL

Fantasy Impact:
22 of Witten's 26 3rd third down receptions went for first downs showing that, even if his overall numbers were down, he is still the go-to guy for the Cowboys. A lot was said about Witten's unselfish blocking that fueled the second ranked rushing attack and his willingness to give Gavin Escobar red zone opportunities, but Witten finished the season strong, averaging 68 yards per game in his last five games. The truth is that Witten had his worst statistical season since 2004, fueled by his least targets since 2006, but he still caught five touchdown passes and had eight games with five or more catches. His role may be similar in 2015, so keep that in mind as you select a starting TE.
