Doug Baldwin hints at run-heavy Super Bowl gamplan?

When asked about his role in the upcoming Super Bowl match-up against the Patriots Doug Baldwin stated "I know what I'm capable of doing. So we going to see what happens on Sunday and we going to bring it just like we been bringing it the entire season. We gonna go out there and try to do our goal, which is to make Marshawn Lynch the MVP of the Super Bowl and if we do that, obviously we're going to win." (NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

He went on to say "And for us, that's running the ball and controlling the clock and playing stifling defense. So that's what we're doing. So on third down, and if you look at the stats, we have the most efficient receivers on third down." While the Super Bowl media week is filled with fluff, this actually has some substance to it. It seems the Seahawks will try and control the clock in effort to avoid a huge time of possession deficit like they had last week against Green Bay. If the Patriots can move the ball against a staunch Seattle defense, Baldwin may be called upon more than usual, but if all goes to plan for the Seahawks, expect Baldwin to receive four to five targets.
