Alexander Mattison getting hyped by Vikings

NFL Insider Jay Glazer is reporting that the Vikings are "raving" about RB Alexander Mattison. "The Vikings have a rookie RB named Alexander Mattison who they were all raving about when I stopped by their camp," Glazer said via the Athletic. "I mean, to a man, couldn’t stop preaching his gospel." (The Athletic)
Fantasy Impact:
Mattison is currently battling with Mike Boone for the RB2 role behind Dalvin Cook. However, with the glowing reports of the rookie, it appears that he should have the stranglehold on the spot, making him a no-brainer grab in fantasy drafts considering Cook's injury history. Mattison could also carve out a role on short-yardage downs as the year progresses, similar to the one vacated by Latavius Murray.
