Tony Romo

A big question in planning the future of the Cowboys is Tony Romo's future

Tony Romo will be 35 during the 2015 season and, although he had his best season in 2014, the Cowboys need to plan for a future beyond Romo. The team has scouted QBs like Bryce Petty leading into the draft and Romo may need to focus on grooming a new QB for the Cowboys as much as his own performance. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Romo is a top-ten QB leading into the 2015 fantasy season, as it is obvious that he thrives in Scott Linehan's offense. Many worried that the change in focus of the offense to a more run based one would hurt Romo, but he was the most efficient QB in the NFL in 2014 and was still able to post significant statistics. He had 30 or more touchdowns for the fourth time in his career while having less than ten interceptions for only the second time in a full NFL season. He also led the league in completion percentage at nearly 70% and had a 113.2 QB Rating. Romo should not be expected to put up similar statistics in 2015, especially with DeMarco Murray and/or Dez Bryant's return as uncertain, but is still a significant QB1 and is worth building a team around.
