James Conner (knee) confident he'll play Sunday

James Conner expressed optimism regarding his knee injury during his radio show on Monday telling listeners, "I don’t think it’s long term. I’m pretty confident I’ll be out there this coming Sunday." As for the injury, he was told “it’s a bruise or contusion, no tear." (The James Conner Show)
Fantasy Impact:
The news should give Conner owners a sigh of relief. He'll likely still be questionable heading into the weekend as the team takes on the 49ers. Jaylen Samuels could see some extra work even if Conner does play. With the injury to Ben Roethlisberger, the team as a whole gets a downgrade in fantasy value.
