Dolphins release Brian Hartline

After six seasons, the Miami Dolphins have released wide receiver Brian Hartline. The move was expected as the team is making moves to clear cap space. Hartline's release clears $5.95 million. (Sun Sentinel)
Fantasy Impact:
Hartline has been a consistent contributor for Miami. He had over 1,000 yards in both 2012 and 2013. But the emergence of Jarvis Landry (with his obvious upside potential) limited Hartline's on field opportunities resulting in a hugely disappointing season. His release is a practical move both financially and personnel wise for the Dolphins. It shouldn't be hard for Hartline to find another team.
