Broncos place franchise tag on Demaryius Thomas

On March 2nd, the Denver Broncos placed a non-exclusive franchise tag on Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
The team is working with Demaryius Thomas on a possible long-term contract. In the mean time, the franchise tag will all but guarantee Demaryius' return to Denver in 2015. With all signs pointing up that Peyton Manning will return as Denver's QB, Demaryius' fantasy value remains approximately the same as in 2014. Over the past three seasons, only Calvin Johnson has more receiving yards than Thomas; 4,533 and 4,483 respectively.
