The New England Patriots are showing interest in former Miami Dolphins WR Brian Hartline but it may come at the expense of releasing Danny Amendola. (WEEI on Twitter)

Although this is still a report, the fact of the Patriots are thinking of releasing Amendola to save money and replacing him with a cheaper option in Hartline seems very "Patriot" like. Brian Hartline would bring a steady outside presence the Patriots hoped they had in Amendola when he was first signed.
