RB Ryan Mathews officially signs with Eagles

The Eagles have announced that Ryan Mathews has signed a 3 year contract with team. He joins a backfield consisting of DeMarco Murray and Darren Sproles. (PhiladelphiaEagles.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Barring injury, Mathews figures to play second fiddle to Murray. Kelly's offense can provide value for more than one running back, but as McCoy/Sproles demonstrated last season, it can be difficult to predict how the carries will be split. Moving to the Eagles will likely be detrimental to both players' fantasy numbers this year, and Mathews is unlikely to rise above a mid-round pick in most leagues.
