Miami won't match Charles Clay's deal with Buffalo

by Keith Kraska | Thu, Mar 19th 12:31pm EDT

Per multiple reports, the Miami Dolphins have already decided not to match the Bills' five-year, $38 million contract with Charles Clay. He will become the Bills' top tight end. (Buffalo News)

Fantasy Impact:

With productive games here and there, Clay has never been a consistent fantasy starter. There's no reason to think that will get any better in Buffalo, which also has Sammy Watkins, Percy Harvin, Robert Woods, LeSean McCoy and Fred Jackson to feed in a run-heavy offense. Clay was signed as much for his blocking as for his receiving. Unless you have two-TE rosters, he can be passed on in redrafts.
