Miles Sanders (hamstring) expected to play Week 2?

In a radio appearance on 97.5 The Fanatic on Wednesday morning, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter said he would be "very surprised" if both running back Miles Sanders and right tackle Lane Johnson did not play in the team's Week 2 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Sanders has been limited with a hamstring injury for several weeks while Johnson is still recovering from August ankle surgery. (Adam Schefter on 97.5 The Fanatic)

Fantasy Impact:

After an embarrassing Week 1 loss to the Washington Football Team that saw Philadelphia's offensive line and their running game struggle mightily against a talented Washington defensive front, they desperately need Johnson and Sanders for this week's matchup against the Rams. Johnson already said earlier in the week that he will be playing, while Eagles head coach Doug Pederson expressed optimism about both Sanders and Johnson on Monday. Without Sanders in Week 1, the combination of Boston Scott, Corey Clement, and Jason Huntley combined to rush 16 times for just 55 yards.
