Re-reporting comments from ESPN's Chris Mortensen during NFL Live on Monday, Gowton shared that the Eagles are working on an extension with contract-year quarterback Sam Bradford. Up until this point, rumors were that the Eagles had not reached out to Bradford and that Bradford believed he would be traded on draft day. (Brandon Lee Gowton via SBNation)

With an extension and no-trade clause, Sam Bradford will be Philly's week 1 starter barring injuries. An above average passer with a big arm, Bradford could be the franchise quarterback Philly needs if he can stay healthy.
