Eagles reporter Howard Eskin hears from his sources that Zach Ertz will be present with the team at the beginning of training camp and will likely open the season with Philadelphia.

Howard Eskin reports that Ertz is "over the issues" he had with the team. He did not play well last season and his time as a dynamic TE seems to be behind him. There's always a possibility that a report like this can be an attempt to drive up interest in a trade. Ertz staying with the Eagles hurts Dallas Goedert's value slightly, but Goedert is a significantly better player at this point in their careers.
