Robert Griffin III

Will Robert Griffin improve in 2015?

Head coach Jay Gruden recently spoke positively about Robert Griffin III's mindset, but then spoke what he expected to see from Griffin this season. "Going into year two in this system should be a big jump, you know? You're not really thinking about who's where, what's my footwork. Everything should come a lot more natural for you, and hopefully, we see that transition from year one to year two in this system with the terminology and knowing where to go with your footwork and anticipation of getting the ball out quicker.” (Washington Times)

Fantasy Impact:

Griffin said he does feel more comfortable in the system now, and Gruden will seem to make more of an attempt to tailor his system to Griffin's strengths. The organization is higher on Griffin recently than they have been in the past, and it's possible that good health and familiarity with Gruden's scheme are all Griffin needs to come close to replicating his rookie success. That would be the absolute best-case scenario, though, and it's more probable that Griffin will be a low-end QB2 who could get benched at any time.
