Reggie Bush

Reggie Bush developing chemistry with 49ers

by Daniel Rogers | Wed, May 13th 12:06pm EDT

Reggie Bush was recently acquired by the 49ers in free agency. Bush is heading into his tenth season in the NFL, but his first with the 49ers. General Manager Trent Baalke had high praise for Bush, saying that “Reggie has really been an asset to Colin and has opened up some things” (quote via Matt Maiocco). Given that Bush will be the RB2 behind Carlos Hyde, he will look to make the most of the passing downs that he is utilized on. (Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area)

Fantasy Impact:

Bush could be a valuable pickup, as he likely won't be drafted in most leagues. It is not yet clear what type of offense the 49ers will run next season, but it seems they are working towards a more pass-oriented offense, similar to the offensive scheme the former head coach Jim Harbaugh was trying to accomplish. If utilized often, Bush can boost the fantasy value of himself, as well as Kaepernick's, and have a solid Flex role in 2015.
