Byron Maxwell

Byron Maxwell was the best offseason addition for the Eagles

by James Brimacombe | Wed, May 20th 2:37pm EDT

Byron Maxwell accepted a 6-year $63 million dollar offer from the Eagles to be the leader in their secondary. The Eagles have struggled at the CB position over the last few seasons and they made it a priority to fix that problem in Free Agency with making a splash and signing the best available CB that was on the market at the time. Fantasy Impact:

Maxwell stepped up for the Seahawks the past two seasons and was a big play maker in the teams success in making it to two straight Super Bowls. He will be a leader in the Eagles secondary and will have every opportunity to give the defense a boast with his leadership and play on the field. He may have been one of the biggest signings in all of the offseason but yet still seems to be an afterthought.
