49ers' Quinton Patton shines in OTA Session

Quinton Patton, after two full NFL seasons, has yet to make a significant impact for the 49ers. Struggling to move up in the depth chart, 2015 will be a "prove it" year for Patton. The 49ers showed faith in the third year wide receiver by not selecting a top-notch receiver in this year's draft. As 49ers OTAs have begun this week, Patton has looked sharp. The Louisiana Tech product hauled in a 50-yard touchdown pass from QB Colin Kaepernick. (Taylor Price of 49ers.com)
Fantasy Impact:
It is still too unclear to predict the production Patton will produce in 2015. However, Patton does have the support of his General Manager Trent Baalke and Head Coach Jim Tomsula. Expect Patton to line up at WR3 behind veterans Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith. Patton has all the attributes to be a successful wide receiver in this league, but it is up to him to utilize his traits to their full potential.
