Could Zach Ertz be the Eagles starting tight end?

by Neil Dutton | Commanders Correspondent | Sat, May 30th 1:57pm EDT

Mark Eckel believes that Zach Ertz could finally move past Brent Celek as the Eagles starting tight end, in his look at the Eagles key positional battles. Eckel mentions that in week 16 and 17 of 2014, Ertz out snapped Celek 117-104, and believes "that trend could continue". (Mark Eckel, NJ.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Going into year three, Ertz has still to fully realise the potential that has tantalised fantasy players through his first two years. Possessing more big play ability than Celek at this point of their careers, Celek's blocking ability has kept him ahead of Ertz, but if the younger man has improved and continue to do so, he will be a tempting TE1 prospect.
