Chris Ivory is atop the depth chart in New York

New York Jets head coach has identified running back Chris Ivory as 'atop the depth chart' at the position. He sits above Zac Stacy, who is still learning the playbook, and the injured Stevan Ridley, as well as Bilal Powell and Darryl Richardson. (The Jets Blog)
Fantasy Impact:
Although being at the top of the depth chart is an encouraging sign for Ivory, it doesn't guarantee that he will see the ball as much as prospective fantasy owners would like. He'll have to contend with four other running backs - two of which have a very good chance to take a significant amount carries away from the former New Orleans Saint. At this point in time, it looks as though Jets running backs should be on the avoid list.
