The Patriots tight end won the ESPY for best comeback athlete after helping the Patriots to a Super Bowl XLIX title one season after being limited to seven games by injuries. Rob Gronkowski also won the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year award last season, when he had 82 catches for 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns en route to the championship. (Boston Herald)

Fantasy Impact:

The biggest key to Rob Gronkowski's success last year was staying healthy. When he is not hurt and out on the field, Gronkowski is the most dominant tight end in the NFL and in fantasy. Gronkowski is ranked to go in the first round in most fantasy drafts this year. If he can avoid injuries he will provide first round value.
