Philip Rivers appears content to play out contract's final year

The Chargers want to lock him up in a long-term deal but Rivers seems content to play out the final year of his present deal. The 34-year-old might be waiting to see if the team moves to LA before entering serious negotiations. (San Diego Union-Tribune)
Fantasy Impact:
If he hits free agency he'll break the bank in a league that is starved for quarterbacks. But it will shock the NFL world if he indeed does leave due to his affinity of the Southern California area and the fact his family is entrenched and happy in San Diego.
