Texans beat writer predicts Shorts as Week 1 starter

Texans beat writer Tania Ganguli predicts that Cecil Shorts will open Week 1 as one of the Texans starting wide receivers. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Shorts has had success in the past with weak QB play. In 2012 he nearly posted 1,000 receiving yards and 7 TD's with a combination of Chad Henne and Blaine Gabbert. Having said that, he was the only real target the Jaguars had at the time. Shorts may post a few solid games here and there, but will not be nearly consistent enough to warrant roster considerations unless an injury occurs to another WR on the Texans.
