Patriots place LeGarrette Blount on their non-football injury list

LeGarrette Blount might not be on the practice field for the New England Patriots’ first training camp session Thursday. Blount, defensive tackle Alan Branch and offensive lineman Caylin Hauptmann were placed on the non-football injury list, according to the NFL transaction wire. Blount is expected to be the Patriots’ starting running back this season after serving a one-game suspension. (NESN.com)
Fantasy Impact:
LeGarrette Blount, who can be removed from the list at any point during training camp, is in line to serve as the Patriots' lead back this coming season, that is after he serves a one-game suspension in Week 1. It is always hard to trust Patriots running backs in fantasy but Blount should see a decent amount of carries this season.
