Ameer Abdullah ready for big role in the offense

Rookie running back Ameer Abdullah has been impressive in training camp. His running game thus far has been called electric and his hands are better than expected. Abdullah will likely play a role similar to that of Reggie Bush from last year, and could see an increased work load if Joique Bell suffers from injuries again. (Tim Twentyman, DetroitLions.com)
Fantasy Impact:
While Bell is still the back to have in Detroit, Abdullah will see adequate playing time. He is the better pass-catching back, and is also a top candidate to return punts and kickoffs. In PPR leagues and ones that award points for return yards and TDs, Abdullah should be on your radar.
