Cole Beasley

Does Cole Beasley have a chance at 80-100 catches this season?

Dallas Cowboy blogger Bob Strum thinks the Cowboys will gravitate more to a pass first game plan in 2015. With the emergence of Beasley last year as a legit threat in the passing game, Strum thinks the increased opportunities will significantly benefit the under appreciated Beasley and could lead to as many as 100 receptions in 2015. Fantasy Impact:

This is obviously speculation at this point, but the highest paid/most talented skill players on the Cowboys are the pass catchers so utilizing those assets more is conceivable. Beasley has proven to be a talented slot receiver and with defenses dealing with Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams, and Jason Witten, there won't be much left defensively to cover Beasley. 80 catches seems a bit high for my taste, but there is potential here for a semi-breakout year. It will be most likely in PPR formats and still depends on the Cowboys actually becoming a pass first team once again.
