Randall Cobb suffers sprained AC joint

by Dakota Mitchell | Jets Correspondent | Mon, Aug 31st 6:00pm EDT

The Green Bay Packers believe Randall Cobb has a good chance to be ready for the regular-season opener, after Cobb underwent tests on his injured right shoulder. The injury was diagnosed as a sprain after he landed hard on his right shoulder in Saturday's preseason loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. (ESPN.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Cobb owners can breathe a sigh of relief, and rest easy knowing that Randall Cobb didn't suffer a broken collar bone as some feared. Worst case scenario seems to be that he misses Week 1, but indications are positive from the Green Bay camp that he will be ready to go. Cobb is locked in as a WR1 assuming he is healthy and Aaron Rodgers is tossing him the football.
