Fred Jackson reunites with Marshawn Lynch in Seattle

by Steve Painter | Fri, Sep 4th 10:04pm EDT

The Seahawks signed RB Fred Jackson to a 1-year deal in an effort to provide Lynch with a suitable backup. With Robert Turbin out and a lack of trust with Christine Michael the club decided to sign Jackson, who reunites with old friend Lynch from their days together in Buffalo. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Jackson still has gas in the tank, even at 34 years of age. So, there is a strong possibility that he maintains his status as the No. 2 back even when Turbin returns. Indeed, it was just last year that he set career highs in receptions and receiving yards. If Jackson proves himself worthy, it's conceivable that he would have some nice fantasy value.
