Anquan Boldin named one of nine 49ers' captains

San Francisco 49ers veteran WR Anquan Boldin was named one of the team's captains on Tuesday by Head Coach Jim Tomsula. At 34-years-old, Boldin will line up as the 49ers #1 receiver when they face the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night.
Fantasy Impact:
Anquan Boldin will be entering his third year with the 49ers and Colin Kaepernick at QB. He had exactly 130 targets from Kaepernick in each of his first two years while totaling over 1,000 receiving yards. As consistent as his numbers look, Boldin only had one game with over 100 yards receiving in 2014 and totaled five receiving touchdowns. Fantasy owners will want to see a lot more big games out of Boldin this year before using up a starting roster spot on him.
