Victor Cruz unlikely to play Week 1

Victor Cruz remained sidelined due to his calf injury during Thursday's practice. Considering this is the team's final full practice before their Sunday night contest against the Cowboys, Cruz is highly unlikely to play. However, coach Tom Coughlin would not rule him out completely. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Cruz seems to be an easy player to avoid Week 1 at this point, even if he would somehow suit up. He has said that he'll be back Week 2 or 3 even if he's required to miss the opener, but it may be best to take a wait-and-see approach with the veteran WR.
