Lions Golden Tate looking to improve on stellar 2014

by Christopher Ziza | Fri, Sep 11th 7:24pm EDT

Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate has stated that his comfort level with the offense is "night and day" comparative to his first year with the organization. So much so that he wants to improve on his 2014 numbers. (CBSSports)

Fantasy Impact:

You have to love the enthusiasm. The WR had 99 receptions for 1,331 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2014, his best NFL season by far. With what looks like a much-improved Matthew Stafford and a healthy Calvin Johnson, Tate has a definite shot to at least double his touchdowns. He will start that journey against the San Diego Chargers in Week 1 where he is a solid WR2 play with upside.
