Dez Bryant avoids short-term IR

Dez Bryant underwent what he termed successful surgery on his fractured foot. The Cowboys have decided to keep him off short-term IR, which would have required him to miss the next eight weeks. The Cowboys are hopeful that Bryant will miss four-to-six weeks due to the injury. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
All signs point to Dez missing four-to-six weeks at this point. His absence will likely hurt the team's running game, and it's TBD how his targets will be divvied. The largest beneficiary figures to be TE Jason Witten, who is coming off a strong showing in Week 1.
