Teammate, Kyle Long, says Matt Forte earned his nickname 'workhorse'

In a radio interview on ESPN Chicago, Jake Long told "The Waddle and Silvy Show" that Matt Forte has earned his nickname of "Workhorse." Since Long joined the Bears three years ago, Forte has worn a cutoff sleeve shirt that shows off his guns in practice. On the bottom of the shirt it has his number 22; on the top it says "Workhorse." Long went on to talk about how Forte is a shining example of what a pro should look like. "He never complains, never takes plays off, and it shows on Sunday," Long said. Forte is second in franchise history to Walter Payton for most yards from scrimmage. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Going into the season, many people pushed Matt Forte down their fantasy draft boards. We have him ranked ninth in ADP per consensus from six different sites, Forte proved his detractors wrong in Week 1. He has a tougher matchup in Week 2 against the Cardinals. However, do not look to sit him. The Cardinals let up the least amount of rushing yards in Week 1, but they gave up a ton of yards to the RB position through the air. Forte is one of the best all-around backs and can take advantage of catching the ball out of the backfield. The Cardinals allowed 20.1 points to the RB position and I expect Forte to hit that mark in Week 2.
