Conflicting reports swirl around Dez Bryant's timetable for return

by Steve Painter | Sun, Sep 20th 10:31am EDT

Earlier Sunday, Ian Rapoport reported that Bryant faced a grim 10-12 week time-frame before returning to action. Now the news comes out that sources are telling ESPN's Ed Werder that it will be closer to six weeks. It's telling that the team has not used the IR/Designated to Return option, revealing that they believe the earlier time-frame accurate, since using the IR option would automatically keep him out eight weeks. Fantasy Impact:

This situation obviously needs to be monitored as the difference in estimates are dramatic and season-changing numbers for owners.
