Darren McFadden struggles versus Philadelphia

by John Muguerza | Sun, Sep 20th 9:21pm EDT

Darren McFadden may have seen more work than last week, but his struggles continued as he plays a backup RB role to Joseph Randle. McFadden carried the ball just 10 times for 31 yards and caught 2-of-2 targets for 21 yards. In the first two weeks of the season McFadden has yet to score a rushing or receiving TD. (Espn.com)

Fantasy Impact:

After an impressive Week 3 preseason game and rumors that Darren McFadden could start the season as the Cowboys lead RB, McFadden has yet to find his stride in the Dallas offense. Through his first two regular season games as a Cowboy, McFadden has 16 carries for 47 yards, averaging an horrendous 2.9 YPC. Fortunately for McFadden, Joseph Randle hasn't been much better as he has averaged only 3.4 YPC for the season. If both Dallas RBs continue to struggle it may be only a matter of time before the Cowboys fire up RB Christine Micheal. Dallas will host Atlanta next week who as of right now ranks ninth against the run under first year Head Coach Dan Quinn.
