Kirk Cousins went 30-for-49 passing with 1 TD and 2 INTs against the Giants on Thursday night.
Fantasy Impact:
The highly unbalanced offensive attack was the result of Washington being behind most of the game. Entering Week 3, they had thrown the ball on just under 44% of their plays, but opted to pass just over 71% of the time on Thursday night. Kirk Cousins made plenty of decent throws, but was most effective on play-action passes. It's reasonable to assume that the long-term success of the Washington passing attack seems directly linked to their running game. Cousins could be a decent bye-week fill-in against any marginal defense, but look for him to perform better against defenses that struggle against the run.
