Kyle Rudolph quiet in Vikings' win over San Diego
by Kevin C. Wilson | Sun, Sep 27th 5:53pm EDT
After catching five passes in both of his first two games, Minnesota tight end Kyle Rudolph was held to two grabs for 14 yards in the Vikings' 31-14 victory over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. Despite his limited production, Rudolph led the Vikings with five targets.
Fantasy Impact:
The Vikings relied heavily on the ground game against the Chargers so Rudolph wasn't really needed on Sunday. Even though he didn't make much of a difference in box score, Rudolph was Teddy Bridgewater's most targeted player on Sunday so that bodes well going forward. Rudolph is still a major redzone threat and can be viewed as a solid TE1 in all leagues.
