Golden Tate has 5 receptions for 57 yards in loss to Denver

Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate caught 5 passes for 57 yards in their 24-12 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday night. (NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

The promising note is that Tate broke one for 33 yards. The not-so-promising note is that his other 4 receptions went for a total of 24 yards, or a 6.0 YPC average. The Lions offensive line simply has not been doing a good enough job to allow plays to develop which is why you are seeing so low of yardage outputs despite a solid amount of receptions. Week 4 does not get any easier as Tate and crew head into Seattle to face the Seahawks. Temper all expectations for Tate this week.
