Marshawn Lynch has an MRI on hamstring, will be reevaluated later this week

by John Trupin | Tue, Sep 29th 4:21pm EDT

Lynch entered Sunday with nagging back and calf injuries, and left with another seemingly small but problematic injury to his hamstring. The MRI will tell more, and Seahawks' coach Pete Carroll said the team would take their time with Lynch, but seemed hopeful he might not be too seriously impacted. (Pro Football Talk)

Fantasy Impact:

Lynch has been disappointing so far this season, and owners who can get a good deal may want to cut bait. With Thomas Rawls filling in well against the Bears, Seattle may take things slowly with their star RB. Carroll expressed that Rawls was the direct backup for early downs to Lynch, and that they explicitly want Fred Jackson to work third downs, so if at all possible he is a must-own handcuff for Lynch owners.
