Redskins D/ST comes to play Sunday

by Michael Vincent | Commanders Correspondent | Mon, Oct 5th 12:43am EDT

Washington had five sacks and recovered two fumbles in the Redskins 23-20 win Sunday. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Two of their sacks came at the end of the game when Eagles QB Sam Bradford was in desperation mode and one of their recovered fumbles came on the "hook and ladder" laterals on the last play of the game. Hard to put too much into it. No consistency and no big name defenders makes this defensive unit unattractive in fantasy. They still do not have an interception and only three turnovers forced all season. Hard to justify starting them until they start performing on a higher level. Their next game is against Atlanta, a team that has torched everyone in their path so far this season. A must-sit, if you own this unit.
